I n order to learn more about how early childhood educators are using technology, Teaching Strategies, an advocate for the early education community, surveyed more than 800 early childhood educators from a variety of early education centres across the US asking questions about their use of technical devices in their classrooms and their attitude toward technology in general.
Technology has many different effects on education, one of them being enhancing the students learning. Technology may enhance the students learning and may assist most students in achieving their academic standards. When technology and appropriate teaching methods are combined, technology may increase the academic achievement.
Teachers have more credibility when they use technology in the classroom. Teachers are sometimes hesitant to use technology in the classroom because they are unsure of what a student might have at home. Giving homework assignments that require computer access to a student without that technology at home would be a waste of time.
Some educators are upset. Recently I’ve noticed an increasing number of ed folks enthusiastically question education technology—and do so with enough sarcasm and bitterness and choice language to embarrass their mothers. If you’re not making some people angry, you’re probably not trying hard enough, but being “for” or “against” technology is a crude sentiment.

Technology in education and the right devices in students’ hands helps prepare them with the career and technical skills they need to be successful today and in tomorrow’s workforce. Relevant learning experiences in STEAM can inspire creativity, help students apply meaning to their learning, and prepare them for future career opportunities and jobs that haven’t even been created yet.
However, the way teachers choose to use technology is ultimately based on their knowledge and skill level in technology which brings about the significance of teachers' training in technology.
